Who is ichigo

Ichigo is a high school student, aged 15 at the beginning of the story[2], who has always been different from others for two main reasons: his orange hair color and his ability to see ghosts.  Yuzu and Karen after the death of his mother, Masaaki Kurosaki, after she tried to save him from a hollow.

 At school, his closest friends are Keigo Asano, Mizuhiro Kojima, especially Yasura Sado or as Ichigo calls him “Shado.” This friendship goes back to one of the days when Ichigo defended Sado in a fight, and they promised to support and help each other in the future [3],  Ichigo also has two girlfriends: Arisawa Tatsuki, his childhood friend, and Orihime Inoue, who loves Ichigo very much, although the latter does not know anything about her feelings for him.  In class, Ichigo does his best to get good points so that his teachers leave him in peace[4].

 On the street, Ichigo is known for his frequent fights against bullies - especially with Sado - because of his unusual hair color, which has led them to sometimes gain notoriety.
